Impulse SealersAs the name suggest Impulse sealers are heat sealers that deliver heat in impulses/intervals. With little to no warm up time these are great to get you going straight away and are therefore also more economical to use as they only pull current while sealing. Impulse sealers are generally only suitable for sealing materials that are up to 140 microns or 0.14mm thick therefore we recommend trialling the settings with your products first!
-
Rotary & Band SealersRotary sealers are suitable for thicker multi-layered packaging e.g. those that have a foil or polyester linings. As well as that unlike Impulse Sealers which operate in a clamp/jaw format, rotary sealers requires the operator to feed the product through on a belt where a rollers then seal the product and pull it through. This provides a clean and sterile seal reducing human exposure to your product! Lastly the core different between rotary & band sealers are that Band Sealers have automatic belts as opposed to manual rollers belts.

Crimp or No Crimp?Crimp seals refer to a patterned seal, It is often used where products have multiple layers to avoid de-lamination. However, this is not a requirement and you will still be able to seal your product just as well without it! The use of this product is to further increase seal strength and where aesthetics matter!

CuttersFor those looking to have custom sized packaging, or just want to cut excess packaging cutters are ideal as they have attached blades that cut your packaging while also sealing your product.
